This is a closer look at Boomer Ridge. It is aptly named, to say the least. We can arrive there level with the low end of the ridge and expect to find certain, great lift. If it did fail us, we'd have Inyokern Airport right there, 5 miles from the hill.
The road that runs through Walker Pass and beyond to the west leads to Lake Isabella, which would be easily visible from here.
Five Fingers is a spectacular rocky ridge descending from Owens Peak. It is typically not as good a lift source as most of the other terrain around it, but WOW, what gorgeous rocks !
