Exploring Morocco on Budget Holiday Travel

Being a photojournalist and an editor for an online magazine, I have had the chance to visit many countries around the world. One of the many countries that I fallen in love love with is Morocco. With its stunning beaches, green valleys, fine foods, and beautiful mountain ranges, Morocco stands out as one of the most evocative and diverse destinations in Africa.

Due to the fact that I travel a lot, I always make sure that I spend money carefully to avoid wastage and regrets. The most interesting thing about Morocco is that it has numerous free and cheap things to do and see. With the help of Holiday Hypermarket, it was very easy for me to find the best and cheapest holiday deals offered in different parts of Morocco.

Accommodation

Morocco has very luxurious restaurants, lodgings, and big hotels that offer very affordable meals and accommodation. All the cities and towns I went to including Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Agadir, Temara, Inzegan, Azrou, Dakhla, Guercif, Ouarzazate, Seffou, Fes, Meknes, and Essaouira had a lot to offer in terms of comfortable accommodation. Some of the best hotels in Casablanca offering budget -friendly accommodation in Casablanca include Hotel Central, Hotel Bellerrive, Hotel Astrid, Zenith Hotel & Spa, Hotel East West, and the Best Western Toubka Hotel. While in Fes, I enjoyed staying in Ryad Naila Hotel, Dar Houdou Guest House, Dar Fes Medina Guest House, and Dar Sienna Guest House.

Attractions

One thing I found out about all the cities and towns in Morocco is that each has its own unique flavour and special attractions. Casablanca alone offers numerous attractions including the Hassan II mosque, Art Deco Buildings, Ancienne Medina, Quartier Habous, and the Place Mohammed V. Other impressive attractions I managed to see for free include the Todra Gorge and the Draa Valley in the High Atlas Mountains, the Erg Chebbi Dunes in the Sahara Desert, and the Djemaa el Fna in Marrakech.

One of my new friends told me that my stay in Morocco would be incomplete without visiting any of Morocco’s stunning beaches. Thanks to Holiday Hypermarket, finding Morocco’s best and affordable beaches was not hard for me. I enjoyed very memorable experiences when I visited the Grottes d’Hercules Beach in Tangier, the Agadir Beach in Agadir, Lalla Fatma Beach in Safi, the El Jadida Beach in Marrakech, and the Plage Quemada Beach in Al Hoceima.

Shopping

Shopping in any of Morocco’s vibrant cities is a very unique experience. Products such as jewellery, curios, clothing, and African shoes are offered at very affordable prices. The Fez Medina, Marrakech Souk, Spice Souk, Chez Les Nomads, Art Narji, and the Ensemble Artisinal Centre are some of the best shopping centres in Morocco with very beautiful and affordable products.
